Digital Skills Observatory | Interview 3
Main Findings
About two thirds of the treatment group (60 out of 95) answered the question "Is there a specific social media that want to learn and install?" with Yes, but the control group was evenly split on this issue: only 51% answered Yes (42 out of 82). Most people would like to learn how to install Instagram, Twitter, and Viber. Furthermore, many answers seem to point to a very dynamic landscape of social media use in general.
A majority of respondents (101 out of 177) says their use of technology on their smartphone has not changed since the last interview.
More than 85% of the respondents use Digital Financial Services sometimes, often, or very often. People in the Treatment group have a higher balance on digital financial services then the Control group.
Many more people from the Treatment group use wi-fi in comparison to the Control group. Still there is no noticable difference between the groups when it comes to buying data bundles. For 60% this happens daily.
